Daniel Collins

Chairman

Daniel oversees operations at Boothstown Football Club, ensuring compliance with FA regulations and fostering a safe, enjoyable environment for players. He joined the club in 2020 when his son started playing, and has since coached various teams and contributed to the club’s 2024 restructuring, becoming Chairman. Daniel is passionate about providing local youth with access to football facilities, something he lacked growing up. His main goals are to grow the club by adding teams, improving facilities, and reintroducing both a first team and a veterans’ team. A highlight of his tenure was the Boothstown Bulldogs U10s’ 2023/24 league cup win. Outside the club, Daniel runs Design 24 Consulting, a building services consultancy, and his company sponsors the club. His vision is to transform Boothstown FC into a centre of excellence with state-of-the-art facilities. He also aims to expand pitches to meet increasing demand, including a 4G pitch for year-round play.

Lee-John Ryan

Committee Member

Lee-John is responsible for communications and infrastructure at Boothstown FC, handling newsletters, website updates, and grant applications. He joined in 2023 when his son Rylee played for the Wasps, and later created the Lizards team, allowing local children to stay involved in football. Lee-John appreciates the club’s potential and camaraderie, valuing its role in fostering player development and team spirit. His goals include strengthening the club’s community ties and improving its infrastructure to offer more opportunities for local families. A highlight for him was managing the Lizards to the BBDFL Cup final. Outside of the club, he is a director of three companies that sponsor Boothstown FC. Lee-John envisions the club as an inclusive space for all ages, with enhanced facilities and a vibrant community hub. He’s also working on expanding the club’s infrastructure to meet the growing demand for football in the area.

Michelle Norton

Facilities

Michelle oversees facilities at Boothstown FC, including managing the café, ensuring high-quality food and snacks, and handling room bookings for parties and events. She joined the club in 2023 when her son started playing and quickly became involved, helping fit the new kitchen with her husband Elliott, thanks to a grant from the FA and support from Howdens. Michelle enjoys interacting with parents and children and appreciates the positive feedback about the club’s setup. Her main goal is to enhance the club’s facilities, provide excellent service, and raise funds to support the club’s objectives. A proud moment for her was transforming the café into a successful operation and organizing fundraisers. Outside the club, Michelle is a manager at L’Oréal at Manchester Airport, overseeing 14 premium brands.

Sarah Millican

Chairman

Sarah is the Vice Chair & Club Secretary at Boothstown FC, where she ensures smooth coordination across all teams and contributes to the club’s strategic planning and growth. She helps organise community events, supports fundraising efforts, and represents the club at local and regional meetings.

Sarah joined Boothstown FC in 2019 when her son started playing football in the Boothstown Academy. Initially helping out at matches and training sessions, her leadership skills soon led to greater involvement. In 2024, she took on the roles of Vice Chair & Club Secretary during a committee restructure.

Sarah values the family-friendly atmosphere at Boothstown FC and enjoys seeing players of all abilities grow in confidence both on and off the pitch.

Outside of Boothstown FC, Sarah is a Director at a law firm, where she leads the HR and Marketing teams.
